Educational Qualification:

1. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG) -(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.(ii) Valid Driving license for both Heavy and Light motor vehicle.(iii) Should have at least 02 years‟ experience in driving motor vehicles.(iv) Knowledge of motor mechanism (should be able to repair minor defects in vehicles)

2. Motor Transport Fitter (Mech) –(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.(ii) Two years‟ experience in automobile workshop.Desirable: I.T.I. diploma in relevant trade.

3. Multi Tasking Staff (Motor Transport Cleaner) –(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.(ii) Two years‟ experience in mechanical workshop.

4. Multi Tasking Staff (Mali) –(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.(ii) Two years‟ Experience as Mali in any nursery or organisation.

5. Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) –(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.(ii) Two years‟ Experience as office attendant.

6. Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper) –(i) Matriculation or equivalent pass.(ii) Two years‟ Experience in cleanship in any recognised firm.

Age Limit: (As on 14.08.2023)

1. Civilian Motor Transport Driver (OG) – Between 18 to 27 years of age

2. Motor Transport Fitter (Mech) – Between 18 to 27 years of age

3. Multi Tasking Staff (Motor Transport Cleaner) – Between 18 to 27 years of age

4. Multi Tasking Staff (Mali) – Between 18 to 27 years of age

5. Multi Tasking Staff (Peon) – Between 18 to 27 years of age

6. Multi Tasking Staff (Sweeper) – Between 18 to 27 years of age

The Upper age limit is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST; 3 years for OBC, 10 Years for Persons with Disabilities (15 years for SC/ST PWD’s & 13 years for OBC PWD’s) and for Ex-S as per Govt. of India rules. Indian Coast Guard MTS & Driver Selection Process 2023:

Indian Coast Guard may follow the following process to select the candidates.

How to apply for Indian Coast Guard MTS & Driver Post:

Application form should be filled either in English or Hindi as per the prescribed format given at Annexure-I. The application with duly affixed self-attested colour photograph should be accompanied by Xerox copies of the documents listed below, duly selfattested with name and date.

(a) Valid Photo ID proof (as mentioned in application)

(b) Matriculation or equivalent mark sheet and certificate

(d) Latest Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layer)/EWS) for reserved category candidates.

(e) Experience Certificate as mentioned at para 1 above.

(f) NOC from the employer for candidates presently serving in any government organization (if applicable).

(g) Two latest passport size colour photographs.

(h) Applicants are to enclose a separate blank envelope with Rs. 50/- postal stamp (pasted on the envelope) addressed to themselves with the application.
