Educational Qualification for TNSEC: 

1. Office Assistant –
   • Must have passed the 8th standard. 
   • Must know how to ride a bicycle. 
   • Must know how to operate Xerox and Printer machines.
2. Driver –
   • Must have passed 8th Standard. 
   • Candidates who obtained Motor Vehicle Driving Licence before 1988 must have passed a recognized training course conducted by an institution approved by the Government. Knowledge of Auto mechanisms with First Aid is mandatory.

Age Limit for TNSEC: (As on 01.07.2025)

• General Category (GT) – 18 to 32 Years
• Backward Classes (BC) – 18 to 34 Years
• Most Backward Classes (MBC) – 18 to 34 Years
• Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) – 18 to 37 Years
• Destitute Widow – 18 to 37 Years
• Differently Abled Person – Minimum 18 Years, Maxim No Age Limit
• Ex-Servicemen (GT) – Minimum 18 Years – Maximum: 50 Years & BC/MBC/SC/ST: 55 Years
• BC/MBC/SC/ST (GT) – Minimum 18 Years – Maximum: 50 Years &: 55 Years

Pay Scale for TNSEC:

1. Office Assistant – Level 1 Rs.15700 – 50,000/-
2. Driver – Level 1 Rs.19500 – 62,000/-

• Eligible applicants should download the model application form from the website https://tnsec.tn.gov.in, fill it out completely, and attach self-attested copies of all certificates including educational qualifications, community certificate, and priority certificates. These must be submitted within the specified application period. 
• Application Period, From 18.12.2025 to 02.01.2026 (up to 5:00 PM)

• Only applications received from candidates who possess the required communal rotation, age, and educational qualifications will be accepted. Ineligible applications and those received after the deadline will be rejected. One self-addressed postal envelope (size 10 x 4 inches) with a Rs.30/- postage stamp affixed must be attached and sent.
